Derek Miller was recently cast as the lead role in the independent feature UNDERWATER UPSIDE DOWN. Prior to that, he was a series regular in the UNT. SKETCH COMEDY PILOT for NBC, a series regular on TBS' THE WEDDING BAND, a series regular on Comedy Central's SECRET GIRLFRIEND and the series lead in MTV's THE HILLS ACCORDING TO ME. Derek has also appeared in TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON, DRUNK HISTORY, SCRUBS, MAD TV, and CROSSBALLS and performs regularly in the critically-acclaimed IO West improvised musical OPENING NIGHT: The Improvised Musical!
He is the first teacher hired be the Nerdist school and has taught at iO West and Second City. He also directs branded content and Animation at Uproxx.
